Dates: October 15 - December 31, 2021
Where: online from Spokane Civic Theatre

Civic Presents

When the world paused in March 2020, so did Spokane Civic Theatre productions and operations. No auditions, classes, performances, production meetings, or rehearsals. Although currently unable to produce shows and provide performing arts training, we are ecstatic to offer Civic Presents — Civic’s virtual Main Stage, a streaming celebration of our community’s creative vibrancy. Where installments will vary in subject, material and theme, all performances will be created and performed by our community.

Filmed live on Spokane Civic Theatre’s Main Stage, Civic Presents: Mark Twain Premieres October 15, 2021.

Civic Presents: Mark Twain, portrayed by Patrick Treadway, is an engaging, humorous one-man show crafted from Twain’s own words and spirit, celebrating events from the author’s life and selections from his works.

Patrick Treadway is an actor, trained at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, puppeteer and visual artist. His roles include a diverse array of characters – Huckleberry Finn, Captain Hook, Bing Crosby and John Barrymore to name a few – with Actors’ Repertory Theatre, American Queen Steamboat Company, Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre, Spokane Civic Theatre, and – as a resident artist – Spokane Interplayers Ensemble.
