My interest in art began as a way to cope with the pain and experience of having been born with a disability. I enjoy creating from a variety of art forms including printmaking, collage, ink paintings, and digital design. In 2020, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in studio art with minors in art history, disabilities studies, and communication studies from Eastern Washington University. Then, in 2023, I earned my Master’s in Teaching at Whitworth Univeristy and an endorsement from Washington State in K-12 visual arts. I’ve been featured in regional exhibitions including the region’s largest multimedia art showcase, “Terrain”. Recently featured shows include “Interwined” at the Chase Gallery in Spokane, Washington. I am currently pursuing my goal of combining my interests in the art community and the disability community through teaching visual art in public education. I am an advocate for everyone to have equitable access to the arts.
