ArtsFund is pleased to partner with the Washington State Department of Commerce to administer over $10 million in Nonprofit Community Recovery (NCR) grants. Nonprofits help build community; their recovery is critical to a thriving post-pandemic economy and healthy communities within Washington. Organizations led by and/or serve under-resourced/rural communities, as well as culturally diverse and underrepresented populations (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities) are encouraged to apply.
Grants range from $2500 to $25,000 and will center arts, cultural, science, and heritage organizations. Grants will also be awarded to nonprofit neighborhood organizations and sports and recreation organizations. Awards must be used to cover expenses incurred between March 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021, due to financial hardship incurred by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible organizations must have a 2019 annual operating budget greater than $25,000 and 501(c)(3) status (or fiscal sponsorship w/ documentation) since FY2019.
