Opportunity: Call for Artists: Photography for Indian Trail Library

Aritistic Discipline: Visual

The Spokane Library and Spokane Arts seek to purchase the rights to a photograph or photograph-based illustration/design for use by Spokane Public Library.  This image will be used for mural to be installed outdoors at the Indian Trail Library which serves an all-ages audience. Artwork could represent the culture or geography of the Indian Trail area of Spokane.

Deadline is Friday, June 2, 2023.

Artists wishing to be considered for this opportunity should submit up to 3 images of works currently available for this purpose. The site has a horizontal orientation. Images or designs therefore should fit in a horizontal orientation. Rectangular format photos or designs are preferred. Art works in a series would be considered.  Selected artist will be responsible for producing a high-quality high-resolution image for production.

Eligibility: This opportunity is open to artists residing in Washington state in the near Spokane region (Spokane and within 40 miles of Spokane).  Artists from backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented in public art are strongly encouraged to apply, including Indigenous artists and artists of color.
