Aritistic Discipline: Cultural, Dance, Music

26th Annual SPOKANE FALL FOLK FESTIVAL
Two days of FREE Family Fun!

Sunday, November 14, 2021. 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Spokane Community College (The Lair)

The annual festival, sponsored by the Spokane Folklore Society, is dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of folk music and culture. The festival would like to invite new and veteran performers and artists to help celebrate and showcase 26 years of appreciation, development, and the continuation of the cultural and ethnic traditions in the Inland Northwest. The festival attracts over 6,000 people each year who enjoy over 300 performers representing 100 performing groups and many cultural traditions.

The Fall Folk Festival committee is currently accepting applications from performers and artists (including musicians, dancers, and storytellers) for our 2021 Festival, November 13 – 14, 2021. Applications must be postmarked by July 1, 2021.

We do not know what state guidelines will be for mass gatherings in the Fall, however, we hope to be able to host a live Festival at full or modified capacity. If this is not possible, we will contact everyone who has applied with details about a Virtual Festival. If a Virtual Festival becomes necessary, performers will be asked to submit a video with a minimum of 3 tunes or dances. The video should be between 15 and 30 minutes in length. The committee continues its commitment to provide a venue to showcase traditional music, dance, and the arts to Spokane and the surrounding area. Information about the Spokane Folklore Society and the Fall Folk Festival and current listings in our Performers Referral Directory may be found on our website, www.spokanefolkfestival.org. Thank you for your interest and we hope to see you at our 26th annual Fall Folk Festival.
