Event: Staged Reading – “Mad Underground” by Sandra Hosking

Date: January 20, 2022
Where: The Washington Cracker Building, 304 W Pacific Ave, Spokane

Join Spokane Playwrights Laboratory for our January workshop performance! Start the new year with a brand new play, as we workshop an original full length script “Mad Underground” by Sandra Hosking.

“Mad Underground” is a comedy about a boy who gets lost in the underground of an amusement park. As he tries to find his way back he meets a cast of strange characters including a washed-up old princess and a sarcastic donkey. He embarks on a journey through the dark underbelly and discovers who he is.

After watching the performance, grab a drink from the bar and join us for a live “talk back” session with the playwright. This is your chance to help create an original play.

Tickets are “pay what you think it’s worth”. At the event you will be given a link to donate to SPL. If you would like to donate before the event, we will provide you with a link in the confirmation email when you register.

See you at the show!
