Event: Much Ado About Nothing, By William Shakespeare

Date: June 16, 2022
Time: 7:00 p.m. - 9:15 p.m.
Where: Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture

Spokane Ensemble Theatre is back at the MAC! We welcome you into a community of revelry under the summer solstice at Lake Messina – a guarded secret of the locals, nestled betwixt the trees and trails of the Inland Northwest. Over the course of this summer celebration, our cast of characters partake in a hilarious – and at times, devastating- game of he-said-she-said. Love and comradery surround young lovers Hero and Claudia, while deception and hijinks follow Benedick and Beatrice as the young couples blaze new trails in this vibrant re-imagining of Shakespeare’s sun-drunk comedy, Much Ado About Nothing. Only at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture’s outdoor amphitheater!

*Please feel free to bring cushions, blankets, or stadium seats to sit on, but please no lawn chairs. The MAC has cushions available to rent for $2 (while supplies last) and can be rented from the cashier at the beer garden.

The beer/wine garden on the museum plaza will open at 6 pm (4 pm on Sundays) for 21+ to purchase beer or wine which must remain in the garden area. Soda, water and snacks will also be available for purchase and can be taken to your seats. Gate to the amphitheater opens at 6:30 pm (4:30 pm on Sundays).

To find other dates, click here. The amphitheater is an outdoor venue and is exposed to all kinds of weather events. Please plan accordingly as the play will go on no matter the circumstances.
