Event: Form & Function

Dates: February 3 - 26th 2023
Where: Kolva Sullivan Gallery 15 S Adams St A

This new body of work is a culmination of an Artist in Residency at the University of Montana, Missoula, and studio practice from the last six months. The artist’s mechanism of research focuses on the formal qualities of objects and tools in and around the artist’s studio. The physical actions involved in making are necessary and inherent to his artistic practice. Appearing as monoliths the large-scale multi-media sculptures on view create a sense of quietness and singularity. The vertical lines reinforce their stability, and their scale provides a space for on one’s physical relationship within the works of the exhibition.

Ticket Cost: Free event; no ticket required.
