Rick Rivera AKA Coach Rick AKA Ricardo Ibarra-Rivera is an Actor, Acting Coach, Life/Health/Business Coach and Creative residing in Spokane, WA.

A first generation American, born to Guatemalan parents, Rick was born and raised in San Francisco. He discovered theatre in high school (St. Ignatius College Preparatory) and continued pursuing the art and craft of acting through Undergraduate (Santa Clara University) and Graduate (American Conservatory Theatre) degrees.

Following completion of his schooling, Rick Rivera acted in New York and surrounding states, pursuing both theatre and film roles (including NY Undercover). Rick Rivera performed both of John Leguizamos’ first two one-man shows: Mambo Mouth and Spic-O-Rama. He is the only actor in the country to perform those two shows other than the creator himself. After a couple of years in the Eastern US, Rick moved to LA and continued his acting career in Hollywood for 14 years (including his role in Nash Bridges). He also performed in Edinburg, Scotland, at the Fringe Festival.

In 2010, Rick relocated to Spokane, Washington, where he has since performed in over a dozen short films (including Complicated by Design, Peace Among Black Hills, etc.), several TV Series (including Z Nation, Cast Aside, and The Horrorverse), feature-length films (Vacant Lot, Different Drummers, etc.) as well as theatre performances (including House of Blue Leaves). See IMDB for more details. Rick Rivera was also the first recipient of the Best Actor award given by Spokane’s 50 Hour Slam Filmmaking Competition & Festival.
Outside of pursuing his own acting career, Rick helps others in their acting careers through his over 7 year continuously running acting for camera class: Coach Rick’s Actor’s Dojo. In this class, Rick takes actors where they are – never acted a day in their lives to experienced TV/film/stage actors – and helps them grow their craft. Many participants in the Dojo are booking roles in less than a year, some in just a couple of months!

Rick Rivera also provides services as a Life/Health/Business Coach, helping others achieve breakthroughs in their lives, health, or businesses and accomplish their dreams.
