The Chase Gallery is always free and open any time City Hall is open. Join us for First Friday receptions the first Friday of each month. Spokane Arts curates 4 shows a year in the gallery, following a public call for submissions.

Taste delicious creations by chefs across the city, sip craft cocktails, and try something new. Be wowed by the creativity, innovation, and technique of the culinary arts. Find a class, workshop, or demo or learn about available opportunities in the field. 

Make no mistake: there are rich cultural offerings throughout Spokane. From the annual Gathering at the Falls Powwow to the South East Asia Cultural Association’s events featuring internationally-renowned musicians and dancers, to Fiesta Spokane (the Hispanic Heritage Festival), Unity in the Community, and so much more. These events and gatherings weave together music, food, dancing, art, storytelling, and more, creating celebrations of heritage while welcoming people of all cultural backgrounds.

Curious about Spokane’s growing fashion scene? Begin by checking out nonprofit Runway Renegades, who’ve hosted an annual fashion show featuring local designers for over a decade. They use proceeds from ticket sales to support local designers, and those designers, in turn, volunteer with organizations supporting at-risk youth.

Performing arts of all kinds! Plays, musicals, staged readings, opera, and more. Local theater houses include the Spokane Civic Theater, Stage Left Theatre, Spokane Children’s Theatre, and many others. The First Interstate Center for the Arts hosts Spokane’s Best of Broadway series, which brings touring productions of acclaimed Broadway shows like Hamilton. Find out more below!
