With SAGA support, a sought after, sustainable ceramics center will be returning to operation in Spokane. GO Art Center will be repairing equipment, upgrading safety features, and preparing for a broader set of workshop offerings for Fall 2020.
GO Art Center teaches participants how to create in clay, not only for the beauty of creating, but as a tactile self-guided method to relieve stress and build stronger individual focus. Studio access, instruction, supplies, equipment and inspiration will always be offered and shared in a relaxed, intimate environment to allow everyone the chance to enjoy the personal and social benefits of creating. Instruction will be available on an individual basis, and in group workshops with various kinds of focus including family fun, business team building, senior socializing, homeschool outings, and professional training for arts therapists.
The Center is in an easy to find location on the South Hill and operates three kilns including a Raku kiln. There is private parking and easy connections to freeway and future corridor. All attendees receive a map/directions upon registration.
