| I am a traditional artist working primarily in ink, stippling, and watercolor, creating small-format original works focused on detail, texture, and careful observation. My subjects include portraits, animals, and quiet, reflective scenes. I’m especially drawn to strong composition and layered mark-making, building images slowly through line and tone. Most of my pieces are created at an intimate scale, inviting close viewing and a personal connection with the work. My sketching practice plays a central role in my process, with many finished pieces developing from small studies and visual notes.
