untouchable is a comedy short film inspired by true stories about the pains of growing up. Originally a one-woman show, it tells the story of a girl growing up while navigating and overcoming limitations, bullying, and learning what it means to be a “good” person.

Rick’s newest work, “Hunger”, illustrates his empathy and compassion for the human condition. ” I want the viewer to react to my work.” Part of the display are the numerous articles describing the controversy surrounding two of his pieces, “Ganesh” and “Solidarity.”

His display is titled “The Whimsical World of Keith Harrop” which includes whimsical artwork of alligators in top hats, mice on bicycles, and lots of cats!
Spokane Ceramic Artist Ginger Oakes at PPP First Friday in Dec!
Meet ceramic artist Ginger Oakes in person at the First Friday reception on Dec 1 from 5–9pm at Pottery Place Plus in the Historic Liberty Building. Ginger transforms stoneware and porcelain into 3D images from her mind, showing her work in galleries and shows across the US. Each piece of work in this show is hand built and one of a kind, fired in multiple firing processes.
Mayan Artist Benedicto Ixtamer Exhibit and Fund Raiser
First Friday Exhibit and Fundraiser for indigenous Guatemalan artist and community organizer, Benedicto Ixtamer. Vendors Kizuri, Resilient Threads and Wishing Tree Books will donate a percentage of their sales to Benedicto for his support of single mothers and children in his rural Guatemalan community. Benedicto’s paintings will also be for sale.

The Liberty Gallery features an exhibit of fiber art by eight local artists titled “Everything Fiber” in the month of November.Every artist in this show works with fiber in their own unique way.
