The first show of the MWPAC 2022 season is Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company who will be performing a dance in celebration of the Lunar New Year of the Water Tiger. The show is a beautiful combination of Asian heritage, multi-media performance, and American dance.

DeMoville is receiving SAGA support to write two short plays. These plays will eventually join a total of seven or eight new short works by DeMoville in a suite of Theatre for Youth plays entitled, “Bridges.”

Kalin will use both digital and traditional arts as the vehicles for learning and expressing concepts in biodiversity with students at Spokane’s Pratt Academy.
Inland Northwest Opera (INO)
The Opera Truck is INO’s newest program: a 16-foot box truck, which has been converted into a mobile stage to employ artists, expand INO’s audience, and provide educational programs through Covid restrictions.

Little Red Riding Hood
The children’s classic Little Red Riding Hood, adapted by Seymour Barab, features a reimagining of the big bad wolf as a lovable character who hates sweets, as well as the ever-familiar Little Red who just wishes she had listened to her mother. Catch the last performances of this fun outdoor event on Wednesday, August 18 at Orchard Park in Liberty Lake at 11 a.m, 1 p.m., 4 p.m., and 6 p.m.
