Music Video Jams is a music video festival and competition featuring new work created by collaborating local filmmakers and musicians. For this annual event, local filmmakers and musicians are introduced to each other and asked to collaborate on a music video for an original song by the musicians/bands.

Rebecca Chadwell & Thomas Castillo
In close collaboration with Spokane Tribal experts, Chadwell and Castillo will be working to bring the Salish creation story to life. The story will be captured using both traditional and virtual reality filmmaking techniques, and will be set in a historically accurate representation of the Indian Congress Encampment.

Dr. Robert Bartlett
Dr. Bartlett has nearly 30 years of university teaching and presentation experience in Eastern Washington. “Jumping Into Fire” is his feature length documentary that uncovers the hidden story of the first and only all African-American paratrooper unit in military history, the 555th Parachute Infantry Battalion.

The Spokane: The VR Film Collective are all time-based artists, coming together to blaze a pathway for VR Film production in the Spokane region.
