Opportunity: Call for Artists: Spokane Public Library Portable Works

The Spokane Library and Spokane Arts seek to purchase original, unframed two-dimensional artworks (including photographs, drawings, paintings, prints, mixed media, etc.), for the Spokane Public Library. Portable works will be installed in Spokane Public Library branches which serve an all-ages audience.

Deadline: Friday, June 2, 2023.

Eligibility: This opportunity is open to artists residing in Washington state in the near Spokane region (Spokane and within 40 miles of Spokane) who have original, unframed two-dimensional artworks available for purchase. Artists from backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented in public art are strongly encouraged to apply, including Indigenous artists and artists of color. Preference will be given to artists whose work is not already represented in the collection of the Spokane Public Library.
