Project Title: Spark Central's West Central Publishing Union

SAGA is providing support for Spark Central’s “West Central Publishing Union” (WCPU) in order to continue their mission of decreasing the artistic opportunity gap even as their mode of delivery changes. Spark Central’s programming fills an important gap in the local arts economy, empowering youth to write, publish, and share their creative and journalistic stories through Spark’s partnerships with elementary and high schools. Submissions from students in elementary, middle, and high school, will be published in a special online newspaper.
