Project Title: "The Un-Generation: The Unheard, Unseen and Unnoticed Ones of a Voiceless Generation."

Sean Lizama hosts the podcast, “The Milestones Squadcast,” where he discusses cultural transformation and community building. Lizama uses storytelling, spoken word, video, music, writing and dancing to give the audience a more engaging and personal connection to the people and themes being explored.

SAGA is excited to support Lizama’s new project, The Un-Generation documentary series. Lizama’s documentary aims to give voice to a group of five Marshallese youth, all high school dropouts at high risk from marginalized families. A shared heritage and experience has brought Lizama into contact with this group as a community mentor. His documentary will be designed to reach older generations and help them to better connect with the misunderstood stories of this younger generation.
