Spokane artist Christina Deubel debuts her new watercolor series, “Heart of the Northwest.” This is a new medium for Christina. Christina was born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She creates fine art paintings in both watercolor, acrylics and wood. She views life as an adventure and her goal is to capture the beauty and freedom of the great outdoors and everyday life through her paintings.
Drawing Class: Illustrating People
Learn all about drawing people! Join instructor Derrick Freeland at Spokane Print and Publishing Center for this fun class. For ages 14 and up.
In this workshop, we’ll be covering the basics of what it takes to draw people and do character design for illustration, design, or just about anything else you might be working on. We’ll be covering some anatomy, looking at facial expressions, exploring body language and body types, drawing the face, drawing clothing, and even learning how to draw (gasp!) HANDS (it’s really not that hard). All materials will be provided.
