Dance Presents! is hosting Spectrum Dance Theatre from Seattle, a nationally-renowned Dance Company! Their mission is to produce and present contemporary dance of global caliber that challenges expectations and calls forth strong emotions, deep feelings and thoughtful responses. Spectrum Dance Theater was founded to bring dance of the highest merit to a diverse audience composed of people from different social, cultural, ethnic and economic backgrounds. Lotus Cultural Arts Open House

Lotus Cultural Arts Studio is hosting an all-ages open house dedicated to some of Spokane’s finest Artists.
LCAS is conveniently located downtown in the old Armory Building, one of Spokane’s best held secrets. Home of The Lotus Self Defense Academy, we are located at 202 W 2nd Ave. We have over 4000 sq ft of space that is unlike anything Spokane or the PNW has experienced. Guests will be welcomed to the historical 2nd floor location cultivating a host of cultural art forms and talent from visual arts, culinary, meditation, mindfulness, holistic healing, to martial arts training, classes, events, and more. Lotus Cultural Arts Studio is Spokane’s next great community of curated offerings and a unique approach for artists pioneering a new vision of cultural arts and disciplines.

Come join The Vaude Villains for an evening of devilish dance and delight! It’s been a long time, but we’re baaaaaccckkk! Get ready to howl and shriek as The Vaude Villains shimmy and shake, shake, shake señora across the stage and raise the dead! Join us for scary stories and things that go bump (and grind!) in the night. With burlesque, dance, acrobatics, and more, we’re camping it up and vamping it up in this devilishly sexy Halloween cabaret that is an ode to all things horror. Full of spooks, seduction, and laughter from here to the hereafter, don’t miss The Vaude Villains Present: Silver Scream Halloween!

Expanding Healthcare Access for Artists

Join Better Health Together, Spectrum, and Centre for Arts Workers for a virtual presentation and Q&A on healthcare eligibility in Washington State. Artists and creative workers often work gigs or freelance, so our focus is to support individuals facing barriers to healthcare. Many people are unsure if they qualify for benefits, so we decided to host this event to get our questions answered! Everyone is welcome to attend!
