Event: Juneteenth Celebration

Join the Inland Northwest Juneteenth Coalition in a weekend of free, fun community events this June 18-20!

  • June 18: Community Pillar Awards (virtual award show streamed on INWJC.org)
  • June 18: Movie in the Park (Watch Black Panther at Underhill Park starting at 9 p.m.!)
  • June 19: Block Party (details below)
  • June 20: Praise in the Park at Liberty Park, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • June 20: Father’s Day Brunch “Drive Up & Pick Up” at the Emmanuel Life Center 631 S Richard Allen Ct, from 2 – 4 p.m.

Join in the fun at the Juneteenth Block Party starting at the MLK Center (500 S Stone) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with Music by DJ K-PHI, local Black-owned businesses, family-activities, food trucks, live art demos from local artists Tracy Poindexter-Canton and Shantell R. Jackson, interactive art activities from Spokane Arts & Art Salvage, and more! Plus more Block Party fun at Liberty Park from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.!
