SAGA is excited to support Spokane Valley Summer Theatre in its three-show, summer-stock musical season outdoors in 2021. SVST is a not-for-profit summer theatre and acting conservatory serving the Pacific Inland Northwest. As a professional (not community) theatre, SVST produces three large mainstage musicals each summer at the Central Valley Performing Arts Center.

In the more than one year-long absence of live, in-person performing arts due to the pandemic, patrons and artists alike are craving a slice of hope in returning to a sense of normalcy. The impact of Spokane Valley Summer Theatre grant winning includes supporting the health and wellbeing of viewers through art, economic benefits for the area, and the much-needed social connections for audience members. With the help of SAGA, SVST will be able to acquire the equipment necessary to perform, covid-safe, in an outdoor environment.
