Spokane Arts Announces New Exhibit Oasis at the Chase Gallery, opening Friday September 1, 2023

Spokane Arts invites you to our newest exhibition featuring artworks from Leela Francis, Sue Schreibe, and Tricia Florence.

Spokane, WA – Prepare to be transported to a realm of serenity and creativity as the Chase Gallery’s new art exhibit, Oasis, unveils a harmonious fusion of landscapes, mixed media, and interior design-inspired artworks. Curated to showcase the inherent beauty of landscapes, the dynamic allure of mixed media, and the captivating synergy with interior design aesthetics, Oasis presents an exceptional collection that speaks to both the eyes and the soul.

“Oasis invites viewers to take their time and appreciate the details and themes in each piece of artwork. Pause and reflect on the sense of peace and calmness that the work provokes,” invites Shantell Jackson, Spokane Arts Program Director.

Spanning a diverse range of styles and techniques, the artworks on display transport viewers to ethereal landscapes and evoke emotions that resonate deep within. From sweeping vistas that capture the grandeur of nature’s beauty to mixed media creations that intertwine various elements into a symphony of visual delight, Oasis offers a feast for the eyes and the imagination. The Chase Gallery is open to the public whenever City Hall is open, Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This exhibit’s opening reception will take place First Friday September 1, 2023 5:00-8:00 p.m. and will close on September 29, 2023.
