Project Title: Get Lit! Festival 2021

SAGA is proud to announce GetLit! Programs as one of its 2021 Round 1 award winners. This year’s festival will be held from April 12-18 and Get Lit! is working hard to present a wide range of topics, authors, genres, and experiences for their audiences. While Get Lit! will not be celebrating in person in 2021 due to COVID-19, they are planning an exciting virtual festival featuring headlining authors Jess Walter, Esi Edugyan, Aimee Nezhukumatathil, Robin Wall Kimmerer, and many others. Get Lit! Festival 2021 will be available free on their YouTube channel and SAGA support will cover author fees and will help hire videographers and sound editors, as well as sign language interpreters and live captioning.
