I combine two main themes from my previous body of works, namely, cultural and natural. Individual elements include cultural and human rights, identity, preservation, flux, and environmental preservation. I employ man-made and natural images as I want them to thrive together. I am forever an idealist.
I draw images mostly from my own Hungarian folk culture and, more specifically, from the peasant culture, relying on my background as a folk dancer and folk researcher. The nature references are today of the utmost important. I focus on mycelium, fungi, mushrooms, and water. With the visual integration of all of these, I try to strike a connection and a balance between our human existence and its context in nature.
