Join Spokane Arts in the Chase Gallery for a May First Friday reception, celebrating the first five years of SAGA grantees! Since the grants program was launched in 2017, 129 creative projects have received direct grants to fund their work, for a total of nearly $600,000 in support. That’s over half a million dollars in grants awarded via SAGA, distributed to individuals, collectives, and organizations who’ve used the funds to increase access to culture, generate new work, and benefit their community. We are so honored to be a part of their success! On Friday, May 6 from 5-8 p.m., we invite you to a poster show highlighting all of the SAGA grantees from 2017-2021. Stop by to learn more about each project SAGA funding has supported and network with other artists! Masks encouraged.
