Event: Expanding Healthcare Access for Artists

Join Better Health Together, Spectrum, and Centre for Arts Workers for a virtual presentation and Q&A on healthcare eligibility in Washington State. Artists and creative workers often work gigs or freelance, so our focus is to support individuals facing barriers to healthcare.

Many people are unsure if they qualify for benefits, so we decided to host this event to get our questions answered! Everyone is welcome to attend!

This presentation consists of a recorded portion by a Navigator at Better Health Together who discusses resources for unemployed, freelancing, and underemployed individuals. The recording will be sent out to attendees via email after the event.

A live Q&A will follow the presentation for attendees to ask questions of all three organizations. Both sections will be translated for attendees with hearing challenges.

Following this virtual event, attendees are invited to sign up for health insurance with assistance from Spectrum and Better Health Together on July 7 and July 14.
