Draw together with this one-of-a-kind production formed by three regional performing professionals. David Garbarkewitz, director for this production and former New York City opera resident director remarks, “Crazy In Love is inspired by the three great interpretive singers who star in this Valentine’s Day piece of perfection as each gives their own personal story of love through song. The title of the cabaret is inspired by the songs ending act one and starting act two: Queen’s Crazy Little Thing Called Love and the Patsy Cline classic Crazy, but you’ll hear many songs from many genres including Fever, She Love Me, and the Al Green tear-jerker How Can You Mend A Broken Heart in this intimate journey of sole-searching and reawakening of spirit.” Bobbi Kotula is an award-winning musical theater artist based in Seattle Washington, Michael Strauss is an LA based performer and film actor, and Duncan Clark Menzies is a local performer and artist. All under the direction of David Garbarkewitz, and accompanied by the resident piano director of Music Conservatory of Sandpoint, Matt Goodrich. Join us for an evening exploring the ups and downs, ins and outs of love through song, storytelling, humor, and The Art Spirit Gallery’s curated exhibit.
