Reinaldo Gil Zambrano and Mary Farrell at SAP

Opening reception for a new exhibit at Saranac Art Projects, Friday April 2 from 5-8 p.m. Reinaldo Gil Zambrano – Siete Printers Siete Printers is a group of internationally recognized printmakers specializing in relief printmaking. After carving and inking the woodblocks by hand, these artists cover them with fabric, and run them over with a steamroller to transfer the image and make the print. Siete Printers is made up of artists Kill Choy, Eric Cuevas, Omar Gonzales, Hugo Juarez, Benjamin Munoz, Lars Roeder and Reinaldo Gil Zambrano. These works are large format prints. Mary Farrell – Stream The imagery in this series of monotypes presents itself as a stream of responses that flow from print to print in a continuous line.

Who is this Shaun guy, and why is he so awesome? Director, writer, ninja, editor, part-time lover, part-time fighter, and Astronaut Enthusiast.Shaun Springer is a pretty cool guy that you should know. His work includes Directing films, commercials, documentaries and music videos. He was also worked professionally as a screenwriter, and script doctor. His feature film, “The Garageland Chronicles” was shot entirely in Spokane and has played at film festivals all over the US, as well as throughout the UK & Europe. He is the author of the children’s book “Nobody Cares About Jimmy,” and his favorite Batman is Kevin Conroy. As for being so awesome… You’ll just have to find out for yourself.
