2020 Arts Awards
Spokane Arts announces 2020 Arts Award winners & kicks off Arts Month! Winners of the 2020 Spokane Arts Awards were announced at the annual event on Saturday, September 26, which was held as a live-streamed broadcast from Lucky You Lounge. The Arts Awards serve as the kick-off for Arts Month, the month-long celebration of arts and culture in Spokane to coincide with national arts and humanities month in October.

Jeremey Catterton
Catterton is a film maker, educator, and working member of the SAG-AFTRA union. He is a multi-discipline artist whose work has curated national and regional film festivals, choreographed avant-garde dance in Bali, Indonesia, to a solo sculpture exhibition at the Wild Embeddings gallery, Bushwick Brooklyn.After graduating from Interlochen Arts Academy in 2000, Catterton studied with an emphasis on Shakespeare from the Guthrie Theater’s BFA actor training program. He then went on to study post-graduate multi-media studies at Sarah Lawrence University & The Kitchen NYC, as well as directing at Middlesex University London. Currently, Catterton focuses his work as film company KORREA Productions.
Rosie Cerquone
Rosie Cerquone is a freelance percussionist, singer, and songwriter currently based in Spokane, WA. She graduated from the University of Montana in the spring of 2020 with a BM in Percussion Performance and a minor in Media Arts. During her time at UM she studied classical percussion, jazz vibraphone and drum set, steel pan, congas, Middle Eastern hand drumming, West African Drumming, and Balinese Gamelan. Rosie is passionate about the growing field of mallet percussion and voice, and uses her songwriting skills to write pop hits carried by vibraphone and her unique, raw, jazz vocal style. Rosie released her first single, “12,” in October ,2020. She’ll be releasing her debut album, “the how & the why,” in January, 2021. All the music is original, and features vibraphone, vocals, rich harmonies, drums, auxiliary percussion, and found sounds. Rosie performs regularly in the Spokane area at bars and performance venues.
