From the annual Gathering at the Falls Powwow to the South East Asia Cultural Association’s events featuring internationally-renowned musicians and dancers, to Fiesta Spokane (the Hispanic Heritage Festival), Unity in the Community, and so much more. These events and gatherings weave together music, food, dancing, art, storytelling, and more, creating celebrations of heritage while welcoming people of all cultural backgrounds.

CVHS Immigration Project Art Show
Students from Central Valley High School English Language Learning program partnered with students from the art program. The ELL students told their “coming to America” stories which were then illustrated and interpreted by the art students. The process broke down barrios between the students and friendships resulted, as well as art!

Fall Blacksmithing Hammer-In
Spokane’s semiannual, weekend-long blacksmithing event where beginners can learn basic forging techniques and experienced smiths can gather and learn from each other. All experience levels welcome. Come blacksmith with us!

The Spokane Symphony is joined by actors, dancers, and a magician to explore musical tales of wizards, witches and magical creatures with the music of Harry Potter movies and more!
Spokane Symphony Fall Soiree
Enjoy Spokane Symphony musician-curated chamber music, from baroque to contemporary. Small ensembles will perform at the Rockwood S. Hill Event Center, and refreshments will be available.
Live Art Demonstration: Mindfulness Weaving
Artists and craftspeople share a visual demonstration for you to observe. Demonstrations in October are presented in conjunction with National Arts and Humanities Month.
CSO 26 Plaza Ribbon-Cutting
Join us for a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the new CSO 26 plaza and water tank and honor the artists, Spokane Tribe member Jeff Ferguson and Colville Tribe member Smoker Marchand (with assistance from local artist Rick Davis).
