Truong-Son “timaeus222” Nguyen was born in San Jose, CA, and is a graduate of Gonzaga University with a B.S. degree in Chemistry (2016) and of Washington State University with a Master’s degree in Physical Chemistry (2022), residing today here in Spokane, WA. In his free time since April of 2011, he has enjoyed honing his craft in digital music production under the artist name, timaeus222, publishing over a hundred musical works. He has constructed many vastly different musical environments, such as atmospheric, cinematic, world/middle-eastern, and even dubstep, but primarily creates lighter soundscapes today. He finds musical inspiration from artists such as Andrew “zircon” Aversa, Lindsey Stirling, and Jimmy “Big Giant Circles” Hinson, who occasionally infuse his works with striking chord progressions, singing melodic contour, or multiple interacting layers.
