Hi there. I’ve been a children’s book illustrator for over 20 years, with 15 published books as of 2025. With so much negativity in the world, I’m grateful I’ve had the opportunity to be associated with books that reach out to young kids with positive messaging of well-being and kindness.
I started out with a book called Ella The Elegant Elephant, which won the Washington State Book Award in 2005. I’ve also done quite a lot of contract illustration under my Lucky Hat studio umbrella, and I had the privilege of being an Art Director at Committee for Children in Seattle for 8 years.
I moved to Spokane from Seattle in 2020.
