Hi! My name is Janae. I’m a 26-year-old Las Vegas native. I moved to Spokane in February of 2025. I started doing photography when I was 7. My mom is the worst at taking photos. So many of my baby pictures have her thumb covering most of the image. So, at 7 I decided I could do better. I borrowed her green point and shoot kodak and I’ve been hooked ever since. I took my first actual photography class my sophomore year in high school. I’m extremely grateful for my teacher Mr. Kuhn. We were taught with a film camera; the following year is when we were allowed to use digital. That knowledge has stuck with me. I became my high school robotics photographer. I used to take photos of every event. As the years went on, I dabbled and explored with shooting more things, and just allowing my creativity to thrive. I have taken pictures of dang near anything you can think of. I love working outside and taking pictures in the sun… thus the name Sun-Kissed Photos. What can I say? I take photos of everything under the sun.
Photography aside I love self-expression. I love fashion, body modifications, designing clothes, roller skating, dance, aerial fitness, music, farmers markets, good food, animals, and so so so much more. I love having fun, doing new things and exploring.

From start to finish, I strive to create a seamless and enjoyable photography experience for my clients. My goal is to make them feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, allowing me to capture genuine moments and create stunning visuals that leave a lasting impression.
I also offer tons of add ons. I can even make photobooks, invitations, thank you cards as well as calendars.
