Eve Flowers, also known as Wib Waldo, is a writer and artist based in Spokane Washington. She graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor’s in Professional and Creative Writing and her comic, Harmonious Freak, was published in Spokane’s quarterly comic zine Spokane Sequential.
When writing, she loves to use omniscient narration with a strong personality, and creates art that speaks from a place deep within herself that she doesn’t quite understand. Her witty storytelling, which ranges from personal anecdotes to oddball short-fiction, and extensive charm interacts with her art in a way she guarantees you haven’t seen before, and if you have you’ll find yourself taking a fondness to it regardless. Her words, not mine.
The wide-eyed characters and exaggerated perspectives that frequent her art are exemplary of how she often finds herself in the world: bug-eyed, bug-esk, and zoomed in or zoomed out (or stretched length-wise or horizontally) depending on the day of the week or what the big eyeball in the sky demands (It gets very cranky when it doesn’t rain on Mondays).
Constantly striving to push her artistic boundaries, Eve Flowers is open to any type of content and collaboration even if those opportunities fall outside of her usual scope. So, you know, reach out if you have any ideas. Or if you know about the eyeball too. She needs someone to talk to about that. You can both find solace in creating something totally awesome together.
