“Music Valley” is a new musical by Madeline McNeill. An epic poem with fourteen original songs, a few with lyrics by local poet Ellen Welcker. A story between two friends Emma from Music Valley and Jay from Builder’s Ridge, connected by a bridge over a river, when a strange sickness descends. Sound familiar? Debuting at The Nest in Kendall Yards, this new musical will include four singers, a marimbist, and a double bass player mashing together classical and jazz sounds in a cabaret opera punk style.
