Opportunity: Spoken Word — Voice of the River

Greetings poets and water warriors. Global Water Dances is an annual event bringing awareness and education about local Water issues through dance and the arts across the globe. The goal is to encourage stewardship and educate the community about how we all play a role in the health and balance of our river. We are seeking poetry/spoken word to go along with one of our Dance pieces highlighting the plight of the salmon and their return home to the Spokane River and the challenges they face. Considering that it is National Poetry Month, we thought it would be fun to share this prompt for your writing inspiration and perhaps collaborate with your talent by bringing your words to life through movement.
