Classic New York Jazz Organ Quartet. Super swingin’ and slightly funky. The Groover Quartet has held a 14-year weekly residency at the New York club “Smoke”. The Groover Quartet is Mike LeDonne, Eric Alexander, Peter Bernstein and Joe Farnsworth. Down-beat poll winner Mike LeDonne got his start playing with the masters of jazz including Milt Jackson, Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Golson, and Clark Terry. Mike is on over 100 CD’s as a sideman and starting in 1988 recorded his first of 16 CD’s as a leader. His trios have included greats like Ron Carter, Jimmy Cobb, Billy Hart, Pete LaRoca and Louis Hayes.
