HeARTworks’ Spokane Teaching Artist Mentorship Program (STAMP) emboldens the community’s want for amplifying Spokane’s Arts Ecosystem while building community and youth partnerships. Participants in STAMP are paid a stipend to gain skills, techniques and experience that take their art practice into the realm of workshops and instruction. HeARTworks specifically focuses on developing knowledge to effectively plan and lead instruction in a classroom setting.
HeARTworks’ vision is to illustrate how vital the Power of Art truly is for our youth and communities, especially for those who have been historically overlooked, ensuring the best possible future for generations to come.
SAGA will provide support for art materials, administrative fees, and site director/mentorship time.
