2025 Grantees

Round 1 Grantees

The Spokane Arts Grant Awards (SAGA) has funded eight new proposals in its first round of grantmaking in 2025. Grant winners will carry out arts projects and programs that will take place in the Spokane region over the next twelve months. The successful applicants received a total of $55,000 for work in music, film, education, fine arts, cultural arts, and festival hosting.

2025 will be SAGA’s ninth year serving the Spokane area arts and cultural arts communities. With this round’s awards, SAGA has now funded 196 projects, businesses, organizations, and programs totaling $1,044,416 in direct financial support to our creative individuals, teachers, businesspeople, and programmers. Breaking this $1M landmark is an important moment to recognize the incredible creative work being carried out in our area, and to further recognize that SAGA is only able to fund a small percentage of the worthy projects we see every year. In celebration of our creative communities, we invite you to attend some of the amazing, upcoming public offerings described below.

A panel of six community members, with experience in various aspects of the arts, review eligible applications. Each selection panel serves for one year and the names of the panelists are made public each December after all funding decisions have been announced. SAGA will grant a total of $160,000 to the arts and culture communities in the Spokane region in 2025.
