Round 3 Grantees

The Spokane Arts Grant Awards (SAGA) has funded six new proposals in its third round of funding in 2022. Grant winners will carry out arts projects and programs that will take place in the Spokane region over the next twelve months. The successful applicants received a total of $47,000 for projects in arts business, film, visual art, performance, and multicultural experiences. A panel of five community members, with experience in various aspects of the arts, reviewed eligible applications. Each selection panel serves for one year and this year SAGA’s panelists were Dylan Le (Spokane Arts Commission), Karen Stratton (Spokane Arts Board of Directors), Brittan Hart (recent Whitworth Publishing graduate), Alexander Gibilisco (Manager of Equity and Inclusion Initiatives at Spokane City Council), and Marsha Marcuson (Avenue West Gallery).

Round 2 Grantees

In its second round of grant making in 2022, the Spokane Arts Grant Awards (SAGA) funded nine new arts programs and projects selected from 30 eligible applications. Grant winners will carry out their work in the Spokane region over the next twelve months. The eight successful applicants received a total of $47,000 for projects in culture, theater, publishing, visual art, music, and school programming.

Round 1 Grantees

In its first round of grant making in 2022, the Spokane Arts Grant Awards (SAGA) has funded eight new arts programs and projects selected from 31 eligible applications. Grant winners will carry out their work in the Spokane region over the next twelve months. The eight successful applicants received a total of $47,000 for projects in dance, theater, publishing, book arts, cultural arts, and school programming.
